Bakery franchise to open Columbia location.

Baking company Nothing Bundt Cakes has leased retail space for a new franchise location at 131 Harbison Blvd. Colliers International's Danny Bonds and Taylor Wolfe represented landlord Biltmore Property Group in the transaction.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, founded in 1997 in Las Vegas by Debra Shwetz and Dena Tripp, has more than 260 bakeries across the U.S.

"We enjoyed working with Nothing Bundt Cakes and their team to help secure their first location in the Columbia market," Wolfe said in a news release. "The concept has been a success across other markets, and we were honored to be the ones to help them expand their footprint into Columbia."

Biltmore Property Group, headquartered in Asheville, N.C., develops, owns and operates shopping centers and mixed-use projects in five Southeastern states.
