The husband-wife team of Irina and Vladimir Saveliev started aXXa in 2006 after Irina tired of her housecleaning business.

"I always loved baseball caps," said Irina, who is originally from Russia but has lived in Denver for 20 years. "They have stayed pretty much the same for 140 years. I wanted to see what I could do to them to make them edgy and more fashionable."
