Fall may be the best time of year to plan a business meeting or conference at one of Colorado's many premier resort properties. The reason? Affordability. Many resorts and hotels are simply between seasons--winding down from summer activity and preparing for the busy winter push. For consumers, especially corporate planners in search of room and conference space packages, fall can be a buyers' market.

Mountain resorts in particular are very aggressive after Labor Day and before Thanksgiving. Just don't expect to see a ton of promotional activity this time of year, as often advertising and marketing dollars are reserved to fight it out for market share during that time of year when guests are known to be shopping for rooms and space.
