Automotive supplier expands in Anderson.

German auto supplier EuWe Eugen Wexler US Plastics Inc. is expanding their Anderson operation with an $8.6 million investment.

The expansion, set for a mid-2021 completion date, is expected to bring 16 jobs and 13 more acres to the company's 171 Alliance Parkway facility in Williamston, according to a news release.

"We are grateful for the significant role both the state of South Carolina and Anderson County have played in supporting our decision in 2015 and now again in 2020," CFO J. Kevin Smith said in the release. "With this expansion, EuWe will be able to solidify its position in the region as a premium tier 1 supplier and contribute more to the success of our customers, business partners and employees in the Upstate."
