Automotive glazing specialist to open $3.3 million facility in Lexington County.

Specialty glazing manufacturer AGP Group is investing $3.3 million in new Lexington County operations expected to create 35 jobs.

AGP eGlass, headquartered in Belgium, provides high-tech automotive glazing to more than 20 automotive brands worldwide.

"As a leader in the industry with operations all over the world, we are very happy AGP Group chose to establish their latest operations in Lexington County," Lexington County Council Chair Scott Whetstone said in a news release from economic development organization Central South Carolina Alliance. "This investment in our community will help create jobs for Lexington County residents and create more opportunities for growth moving forward."
