Automation equipment manufacturer expands.

Kelley Engineering, a designer and manufacturer of custom automation equipment, will invest $6 million in a new build-to-print facility set to create 80 jobs.

Founded in 2015, Kelley Engineering provides automation equipment, computer numerical control machining and metal fabrication for a variety of industries across the Southeast, including aerospace, automotive, injection molding, packaging and tires, according to a news release.

"We are excited about this next chapter for Kelley Engineering. This latest expansion will give us a combined 82,000 square feet which will allow us to expand our manufacturing and automation capabilities," Matt Kelley, CEO of the company, said in the release.
