Austin Chapter honor students with scholarships.

The Austin Chapter of TEI has presented two deserving students from Southwestern University scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. It is a goal of the chapter to provide two annual scholarships to students at various local universities, rotating the scholarships among Texas State University, Saint Edward's University and Southwestern University. The universities have welcomed TEI to their campuses and appreciate the opportunity to provide students interested in the field of taxation with our scholarship.

This year Southwestern University was added to the scholarship rotation and therefore the chapter granted both scholarships to the university. The recipients of the 2005 TEI Austin Chapter scholarship are Sarah Mayfield and Anke Kishimonto. Both are outstanding students at Southwestern University and very active in various organizations on campus.
