Aurora Gas LLC announced the successful test results of its Nicolai Creek Unit work-over project on the West Side of the Cook Inlet. The Nicolai Creek Unit #3 Well, which had been shut in for 20 years, was cleaned out, reperforated, and gravel-packed in December and tested recently. A sustained flow rate of over four million cubic feet of natural gas per day was attained from the five commingled perforated intervals of the Upper Tyonek formation at depths of 1,900 feet to 2,380 feet.
