10 Alaska Salmon Bake and Fly-By

Annual event featuring vintage aircraft and fly-bys from around the state, salmon with all the fixings and live bluegrass music. Pilots can take part in the annual Poker Run, featuring 17 airports and lake locations. Held from noon to 5 p.m. at the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum. Call 248-5325.

13 Employer Payroll Taxes

Conducted in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor to help small businesses understand employment tax. Covers the basic steps involved in producing a business plan, including researching business ideas, analyzing the profitability of small business, introduction to the necessary financial statements and consideration of loan requirements.
