* On December 24, 2008, Christopher D. Ferrara's petition for reinstatement to the practice of law was granted because he proved, by clear and convincing evidence, his rehabilitation, fitness to p ractice law, competence, compliance with all applicable disciplinary orders and lules, and compliance with other requirements imposed by the court, as required by RSCH Rule 2.17(d).

* On January 30, 2009, upon consideration of the record that Kathy J. Gumpel had shown that her disability has been removed and she is fit to resume the p ractice of law, her petition for reinstatement was granted. The court further ordered that the Office of Disciphnary Counsel ("ODC") may resume disciplinary proceedings, including proceedings identified as ODC 89-174-2698, 89-225-2749, and 90-054-2872, if warranted.

* On March 3, 2009, upon consideration of the ODC's ex parte petition for issuance of reciprocal discipline notice to Respondent Bill Kloos, pursuant to RSCH Rule 2.15(b), the Hawaii Supreme Court found that: (1) on January 28, 2008, the Supreme Court of Oregon publicly reprimanded Respondent Kloos for his ethical misconduct in Case No. 07-99; (2) RSCH 2.15(b) requires the same or...
