In Apr. the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's decision to adopt the AICPA's auditing standards as the PCAOB's interim auditing standards. Cooperative discussions since that time have resulted in the PCAOB publishing the interim standards for audits of public companies and making them available free of charge through its Web site (www.pcaobus.org).
