II. OBLIGOR/ANNUITY ISSUER-Do you understand who will be contractually obligated to make the payments? Are you satisfied with the rating of the annuity issuer to be used? Is there to be a qualified assignment? Should you insist upon an assignment? Are you satisfied that the obligor/assignee is not involved in economic activity that could jeopardize its ability to make the future payments? If desired, is there a guarantee available for the assignee's performance? If an assignment is to be used, is it desirable to give the claimant a secured creditor status?

III. PAYEE/CONTINGENT PAYEE WORDING-Is it clear who is getting paid which payments? If the payments are shared, is it clear how the payees share them? Is it clear who will get the remaining certain payments of each payee, should the payee die? If there is more than one contingent payee, is it clear how they are to share in the remaining payments? If one or all of the contingent payees die before the payee, is it clear who will then be the contingent payee?

IV. PAYMENT INFORMATION-The final schedule of payments will be provided by the structured settlement consultant. It should be...
