HOW EFFECTIVE IS MARKETING DONE ON AN ATM SCREEN? A new consumcr survey from Synergistics Research, Atlanta, suggests that the potential is impressive.

Findings reveal that one quarter of ATM users say they have been at the ATM and a message about a financial account or service they might be interested in appeared on the screen. Of those who saw this type of ATM ad, close to half (46 percent), say they responded to the marketing message by choosing an option to get more information or have someone contact them.
