Atlanta Chapter honors Dan Lockridge.

At the March meeting of the Atlanta Chapter, Dan Lockridge was presented with the Meritorious Chapter Service Award for his remarkable service over the years. He was presented the award by the current Atlanta Chapter President, Robert Howren. Dan Lockridge is Executive Director, Income Taxes at The Coca-Cola Company. A long-time member of the Atlanta Chapter, Mr. Lockridge has been very active at both the chapter and Institute level. He has held several positions in the Atlanta Chapter and is one of the past presidents.

On April 28, 2010, the Atlanta Chapter held a full-day event hosted by Ernst & Young at Maggiano's Restaurant in Atlanta. The event was a great success with more than 120 attendees. The morning session included a Federal Tax Program with the following updates and overviews: ASC 740, IRS withholding tax initiative, debt modifications, restructuring and bankruptcy, and current state issues...
