Atlanta Chapter holds Federal and State half-day seminar.

On February 21, the Atlanta Chapter held a half-day seminar on Federal and State Tax Topics presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. The seminar was held at The Buckhead Theatre and was attended by more than 105 tax professionals. The first session of the morning covered an overview of Accounting for Income Taxes along with a discussion of recent developments. The presenters were Tiffany Mauldin, director in the Atlanta Federal Tax Services group, and Jose Martinez, director in tax.

The second session provided an International Tax Legislative and Regulatory Update, including an outlook of legislation based upon President Obama's State of the Union Address, budget proposals, and international tax reform proposals.
