Association Posthumously Bestows Perry Award to Sniegon.

Virginia Sniegon, a stalwart advocate of precision strike who devoted her civilian defense career to its mission, and devout member of the Precision Strike Association--an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association--is this year's recipient of the William J. Perry Award.

This is a posthumous award to Sniegon, 83, who passed in January, said PSA Chairman Ken Masson. Sniegon's family accepted the award at the Precision Strike Annual Review in late March in Arlington, Virginia.

Sniegon's dedication and life-long contributions made her "a true champion for our national defense," Masson said. "No one has left a more indelible mark on precision strike. Ginny was dedicated, loyal and driven to make precision strike and her beloved Department of Defense as strong as it could be."
