The Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI) serves the needs of our members and government partners for objective collaboration on critical problems concerning mission, business and operational information environments. AFEI provides a unique venue for trusted collaboration between Government stakeholders and Industry members to examine policy, technology and cultural issues and solutions. AFEI members form an unparalleled community of experts that collaborate to develop creative, innovative and timely solutions to the challenges facing information environments in the United States

AFEI is an affiliate of NDIA, a non-profit, non-partisan member-driven organization that is the premier industry association for the Defense Industrial Base and national security community. AFEI members include many of the corporate leaders providing IT solutions to the Federal government. AFEI's Board of Directors contains former high-ranking military and government agencies as well as recognized industry experts. Drawing on the experience and expertise of this membership, AFEI provides the thought leadership that identifies crucial enterprise information topics, completes strategic research and promotes innovative solutions.

Through business, government, and academic alliances AFEI provides a collaborative platform for interactive ideas and information exchange on the critical enterprise information issues of today

Our members work on issues that support the vital national goals of:

* Promoting the secure sharing of information amongst business, governments and citizens.

* Advancing the leveraging of national information assets for decision advantage and

* Providing communities best practices that continuously evolve in developing and deploying secure IT environments.

Activities

AFEI facilitates communities of interest to make the transfer from visionary to reality by aligning the activities within government and industry. AFEI Working Groups are open to participation by those with legitimate interest in working on critical issues. The following are examples of the AFEI working groups:
