Associated General Contractors names 2011 award winners: top construction projects and safety recognition.

The associated General Contractors of Alaska (AGC), the state's largest construction organization, named its top construction projects, safety programs and individuals at the association's annual conference in Anchorage, Nov. 2-5.

The Hard Hat Award, given annually to an AGC member who has demonstrated exemplary service to the association, the community and the industry was awarded to Anchorage contractor Jerry Neeser, president of Neeser Construction.

In the Alaska USA Insurance Brokers-sponsored "Excellence in Construction Awards," the following firms won awards in "Meeting the Challenge of a Job"
