Assisted living facility opens in Northeast Columbia.

A new assisted living facility has opened in Northeast Columbia.

Watercrest Columbia Assisted Living and Memory Care is a 107-unit, resort-style senior living community located at 1951ClemsonRoad. The facility is a project of Florida-based Watercrest Senior Living Group and Titan Development Real Estate Fund I.

Watercrest Columbia offers 75 assisted living and 32 memory care apartments. Community amenities include a spa, a wine bistro with private-label libations and a private dining room. A market street plaza provides a multisensory outdoor streetscape designed to facilitate memory care.

The community also features a children's play space, a promenade and a pool.

"We are thankful for our partners at Titan and for the tremendous support of the Columbia community in the development of this exceptional senior living residence," Marc Vorkapich, principal and CEO of Watercrest Senior Living Group, said in a news release.
