Assessing Human Rights in Peru.

The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) conducted an on-site visit to Peru November 9-13 to observe that country's general human rights situation. During the visit, the IACHR delegation met with government officials and with representatives from various segments of society, as well as civic organizations, nongovernmental human rights organizations, community groups, church representatives, labor leaders, and alleged victims of human rights violations.
