Artisphere secures $31,620 grant.

Artisphere has been awarded a grant of $31,620 by the S.C. Arts Commission for 2020.

The grant will help Artisphere make the arts accessible to Greenville residents and visitors, as well as showcase the city's cultural offerings, according to a news release from Artisphere.

In 2019, a similar grant helped Artisphere leverage more than $450,000 from corporations and granting institutions such as the city of Greenville, Greenville County, The Graham Foundation, TD Bank, GE and Michelin, the news release said. An estimated 70,000 patrons attended Artisphere, spent more than $1.2 million purchasing original works of art and made an economic impact of more than $9.1 million, the release said.
