Career Summary: My entire career has been with private companies, after beginning as an auditor and management consultant for an international CPA firm. Most recently, 1986-2007, a principal shareholder of LCS Holdings Inc. (housing, medical care and services for older adults), from which I retired in 2007; then, since April 2007, president, Alliance Minerals
Board of Directors: LCS Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries, AMNA managing member. I have also served on numerous not-for-profit boards in the arts.
FEI Involvement: Member, St. Louis Chapter, 1981-86, served on the 50th anniversary and program committees; Iowa Chapter since 1986, have served as secretary, program committee and president (during its 50th anniversary). FERF trustee and chairman; currently serve on the Standards Subcommittee of FEI's Committee for Private Companies.
Other Service in the Profession: AICPA Private Company Financial Reporting Task Force, IASB Working Group for Small-and Medium-Sized Enterprise Financial Reporting. Elected to the AICPA Business and Industry Hall of Fame in 2007.
