Springville Museum of Art

The Springville Museum of Art serves as a historical chronicle of 150 years of art in Utah. It houses nearly 3,000 works of art, including about 2,000 by Utah artists. On display through. 2016 is the exhibit Voices: People, Places and Ideas in Utah Art, a collection that shows the diverse ways local artists have used visual media to respond to and represent their perceptions.

The museum hosts at least 15 exhibits a year, including several juried exhibitions featuring Utah artists. It's active in promoting art in schools throughout the state and displays annual exhibitions of Utah's best student artists. The museum also houses impressive collections of Russian-Soviet socialist realism and American realism.

The Springville Museum of Art was built during the Great Depression in Spanish colonial revival style. The 45,000-square-foot museum includes a long spiral staircase, high ceilings and red brick floors throughout all 29 galleries.
