Applications open for Leadership Columbia Class of 2024.

Applications are now open for the class of 2024 of Leadership Columbia, a leadership program run by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Columbia. Sixty applicants will be selected to participate.

Founded in 1972, Leadership Columbia is a skills-building program that aims to develop emerging community leaders while providing an educational experience with a strong emphasis on social and community awareness. Participants will gain knowledge and skills to help them focus their talents to better serve the Midlands region.

"Leadership Columbia is so much more than just a behind the scenes tour of our area," said David Looper, advisory board chair for Leadership Columbia. It is a program built around teaching professionals to care for the community they live in by exposing them to the real issues we are facing. The skills and relationships developed in the program can be used across a multitude of professional fields, strengthening not only our emerging leaders, but also our community as a whole."
