Except where noted, this list does not include relationship laws that affect a franchise

agreement but which are not part of a franchise law or regulation. Examples of such

relationship laws are those covered in civil law codes of conduct that do not provide for

governmental or private enforcement, even if promulgated under governmental authority

and bodies of law (competition, intellectual property, etc.), which also cover franchising,

unless explicitly mentioned.
