RE: Premarital Agreement

Dear___:

Enclosed are four originals of your Premarital/Postmarital Agreement for execution. This document includes a financial disclosure schedule for you and the financial disclosure that ___provided. I understand you will arrange directly with ___to go to a notary and execute the Agreement.

Therefore, please:

• Read the Agreement through from beginning to end. Do not sign it unless it sets forth the terms as you intend.
• Make sure a set of financial disclosures is attached by staple to each original of the agreement before it is signed.
• Initial each page of each original as indicated. Initial each page of the financial disclosures.
• Take all four originals to a notary, and sign each original of the Agreement in the space provided in the presence of the notary;
• ___should do the same, including reading the Agreement through before signing, initialing every page, and signing before a notary.
• [If agreement is to be witnessed as well as notarized: In addition to notarization, you must sign the agreement in the presence of two disinterested witnesses, neither of whom can be the notary, and the witnesses must sign where indicated and include their printed names and addresses.]

You and ___may go together to sign the Agreement before one notary on the same day, or you may each go separately. You need not use the same notary or sign on the same day. If you sign on different days, the second to sign should fill in the execution date on page 1. If you sign on the same day, either one of you, or the notary, can fill in the execution date.
