Appendix 7 Joint Custody and Joint Ownership Agreement

This agreement is between Tatum Thompson, who resides at Springfield, Maine (hereinafter referred to as "Tatum"), and Logan Longview, who resides at Manchester, Maine (hereinafter referred to as "Logan"). This agreement pertains to a male Husky dog named Peyton (hereinafter referred to as "Peyton").

WHEREAS, Tatum purchased Peyton on May 1, 2015, for the sum of $2,000.00; and

WHEREAS, Peyton is not subject to any lien, security interest, or encumbrance; and

WHEREAS, Logan moved in with Tatum and Peyton on June 1, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan each paid one-half of the lease and utility payments where they lived from June 1, 2015, through one month before the execution of this agreement; and

WHEREAS, on August 1, 2015, Logan assumed the primary care of Peyton due to Tatum's out-of-town business demands; and

WHEREAS, Tatum has primarily paid for Peyton's food, toys, and training; and

WHEREAS, Logan has primarily paid for Peyton's veterinary insurance and uninsured veterinary expenses, including prescription medications; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan desire that Peyton undergo a veterinary examination twice a year; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan desire that Peyton's teeth are brushed every morning and Peyton's coat is brushed every evening; and

WHEREAS, Peyton is current on his rabies vaccine and takes heartworm medication and other medications recommended by Peyton's veterinarian and has also been neutered; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan desire that appropriate medications continue to be purchased for and given to Peyton; and

WHEREAS, Peyton has a microchip; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan realize that it is likely that Peyton will have substantial veterinary costs in the future given the propensity of Peyton's breed to develop hip problems and cancer; and

WHEREAS, Peyton's veterinary records have accurately listed both Tatum and Logan as Peyton's co-owners since August 15, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Peyton's annual license had been in Logan's name, and paid by Logan, since 2015; and

WHEREAS, Peyton has enjoyed daily morning and evening walks of at least one mile per day and Tatum and Logan desire that this level of exercise continue; and

WHEREAS, Peyton has been socialized, in part, by going with Tatum and Logan to a dog park at least twice a week and both desire that these types of socialization efforts continue; and

WHEREAS, Peyton has slept with Tatum's Siamese cat since Peyton was a puppy; and

WHEREAS, Peyton has spent considerable time with Logan's four-year-old daughter, who is disabled, and both Tatum and Logan agree that Peyton helps reduce this girl's anxiety; and

WHEREAS, Tatum and Logan's neighbors have called animal control...
