Don't Jinx It! A Return to Appellate Normalcy

As I prepare my appellate tips article for the next installment of the Kansas Bar Journal, we have been using our new Odyssey Appellate Case Management System for almost a week, and we sit on the cusp of the pending return of appellate efiling on July 1, 2024. In order to not jinx the process, I reread my January 2024 article "October 12, 2023 — A Date We Won't Soon Forget" to remind myself how far we have come.
