GOVERNMENT anti-corruption experts from the region analyzed progress against corruption in six countries--the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago--during a meeting at OAS headquarters in March.

The reports on these countries can be found on the OAS website (www.oas.org), along with previous reports adopted under the Mechanism for Follow-Up on the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption. Twenty-eight OAS member states currently participate in the process, which was begun to strengthen countries' compliance with the anticorruption treaty.
