Just to keep you informed about what kinda people have the same vote we do in the U.N.'s General Assembly, consider the new president-elect of Suriname in South America, the honorable Desi Bouterse. He's also the former dictator of that benighted realm, having twice led military coups there. It seems that in 1982 he organized a massacre of journalists, elected officials and folks he just plain didn't like, and in 2007 he was finally charged by Suriname's courts with mass murder.

Desi's been fighting a stalling action on being brought to trial, but now, the jokesters report, he's giving his department of justice orders to put his trial on...
