John Cooke, CFMP, has been promoted to assistant vice president, online marketing and Web analytics manager at BankFive, Fall River, Mass. He joined the bank in 2008 as a marketing specialist. He is a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing & Management.

Jack Henry & Associates has announced that, with the retirement of Vernon E. "Pete" Hopkins, John N. Venzon will assume the executive position of general manager of Internet solutions. Venzon will provide executive oversight of the development support of the company's array of solutions that support financial institutions' Internet, mobile and tablet channels. Jack Henry, Monett, Mo., provides technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial service industry.

Bank Mergers & Acquisitions

Franklin Bank, Park Midway Bank and University Bank, all in St. Paul, Minn., have consolidated under a new name, Sunrise Banks. The newly combined banks will have assets in excess of $750 million, eight branch locations throughout the Twin Cities and a national products production office in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sunrise Banks are certified as Community Development Financial Institutions--attesting to the banks' focus on providing financial products and services in St. Paul and Minneapolis' underserved communities.
