Banks

Kellie McAnany has been promoted from public relations officer to assistant vice president, public relations, at Northrim Bank, Anchorage, Alaska.

Theodore J. Aldrich, formerly vice president at Delaware Place Bank, Chicago, has been named senior vice president, in charge of strategic planning, marketing and business development.

Duane S. Keene was named vice president in the sales and service division of Citizens Business Bank of Ontario, Calif. Keene's previous experience includes more than 32 years with Bank of America.

Matt Carter has been named chief marketing officer at Web-based Security First Network Bank, responsible for business and product development, advertising, public relations and market research. Carter has been with the firm since 1999. Michael Rouse was named chief operations officer, and Naveed Ashraf has been appointed chief information officer. Security First Network Bank, based in Atlanta, is wholly owned by Royal Bank of Canada.

Dwight R. Larsen was selected vice president of BankValue, a division of United Bankers Bank of Bloomington, Minn. BankValue was formed in 1998 to provide stock valuations, marketing studies and merger/acquisition consulting for community banks. Larsen will direct the division's sales and marketing division.

Jack Van Veen has been named first vice president and regional investment sales manager for Colonial Bank of Bonita Springs, Fla. He was previously vice president and investment consultant at another Florida financial institution. Catherine Gelinas has been appointed branch manager of the Naples office of Colonial Bank. Previously, she was market manager of another southwest Florida bank and senior mortgage officer at National City Mortgage. Ellen Lai has been named manager of the bank's Sanibel office.

Paul Ricchi has been named vice president of commercial lending in the Boston office of MetroWest Bank. Ricchi will be based at a new office at 15 Broad Street in the financial district.

Brad Clarke, formerly branch manager for Transouth Financial Corp., has been named vice president of consumer finance at interState Net Bank, Cherry Hill, N.J. He will be responsible for home equity loans and auto finance. InterState Net Bank is a startup Web-based bank that anticipates beginning operations this year, pending regulatory approval.
