Ann Kaesermann describes her psychic moment: Working on a 2005 merger, she was waiting for proxy comments from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and expecting a long letter with hundreds of questions. One night she dreamed the letter was only three pages long with six questions. A week later, the letter arrived--three pages long, with six questions. "My one and only psychic moment was guessing SEC letters, not lottery ticket numbers!"

Time Management | 1 have to be organized, setting up files or even just orderly stacks of task-specific information. I am also a big believer in delegating tasks.

Stress Management | Going to the gym everyday at lunchtime to either lift weights or attend a spinning class keeps my mind cleared. I return to the office...
