AMC Engineers named David L. Boggs, P.E.; Mark D. Langberg, P.E.; Edward E. Peck, P.E.; and David F. Shumway, P.E.; as principals with the firm.

Boggs has 27 years of engineering experience, including health facilities, arctic utilities, fire protection, process ventilation, instrumentation, piping, water and wastewater treatment facilities and controls. Boggs is project manager for a variety of projects, including work at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Alaska Regional Hospital, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, and oil and gas industry projects. Boggs joined AMC in 1990 and was named an associate in 1996.

Langberg has 20 years of engineering experience in Alaska, including project management, design and specification of plumbing, piping, HVAC systems, code and standards research, construction administration and commissioning. Langberg is the project manager and lead mechanical engineer for the Service High School Renewal Project and for the new Juneau High School, along with several other projects.
