What did you do for a living before you became an actress?

I was a telemarketer ... It was 1989 and I was selling time-shares in the Poconos. I was the worst, telemarketer because I would just apologize and hang right up.

How separate is your public persona from the real you?

It is a completely separate thing. You can fight the battles and say, "I didn't do that, I didn't say that," but that is exhausting and ridiculous.
