Jack Henry & Associates of Monett, Mo., signed an agreement to purchase Transcend Systems Group of Sioux Falls, S.D., a developer of sales automation and customer service management systems for community banks. Jack Henry & Associates also agreed to a partnership relationship with ARGO Data Resource Corp. of Dallas, to integrate Argo's Carrit CRM program into its Silverlake core processing program. The new product is schedule for release at year's end.

Digital Insight Corp. agreed to purchase Virtual Financial Services Inc. of Indianapolis, a privately held application services provider for community financial institutions.
