Mike Mosberg will becom e your Chair in August. You

could not be in bette r hands. Mike is one of the best lawye rs

I know and the perso n that I have relied on most this year as

we tackled unprece dented times. Thank you, Mike, for your

wisdom, judgme nt, hard work, and sense of humor. Thank

you to the Section st aff, Cindy Swan, Danielle Pruger, and

Casey Purcell. You are the unsung h eroes of our Section.

Thanks to Saul Wolfe and Ga ry Skoloff for having the

courage to start a t wo-person rm 60+ yea rs ago and then

entrusting me and Dav id Wolfe with its care. Thanks to David

Wolfe for being a remarkabl e partner in law and life. And, of

course, thank you to my wife Re nee and our children Ayla,

Kai, and Mikah. Having your su pport (and company at

countless meeting s) has made all the difference.

I look forward to the tim e we can all be together again.

the ABA Family Law Sec tion. He is Co-Managing Partner o f the

New Jersey law rm of Skolof f & Wolfe and Chair of the rm’s

Matrimonial and Litigation Departments.

This year was not the year that we e xpected,

but I am proud of all that we have acc om-

plished togethe r. Thank you to our memb ers,

staff, sponso rs, and fellow leaders of the

Section. We continue to t hrive because of

your commitment, invol vement, and dedication to the

advancement of family law.

I rst serve d on the Section’s counsel as a law stu dent in

1999. Over the past 20 year s, the Section has given more to m e

than I could ever possibl y repay. I have built lifelong friends,

learned from some of t he smartest people and be st lawyers

across the countr y, and advanced my practice beyond what I

had imagined was pos sible. I believe there is no family law

organization— local or national—that can prov ide its members

the breadth and dep th of the benets that we are able to

provide our membe rs. That said, we know we can do more

and look forward to co ntinuing to expand our offerings and

to evolving in the face of new challe nges. While I missed

seeing friends an d colleagues in San Diego, I am thrilled at the

success of our vir tual meetings. An unprecede nted number of

you participated an d were able to witness remotely the

programing that previou sly was only available to in-perso n

attendees . While we will be together again in the future , we

will also continue to enhance a nd expand our virtual offerin gs.
