How has your life changed since you appeared in October Sky in 1999?

Nothing is too different, in terms of my real relationships. But outside of that, people are more interested in making films with me. But I still have to work for the ones I really want to do.

When did you first meet Dustin Hoffman?

[At] an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. He didn't talk to me for the first 20 minutes. Then ... he was full of compliments. I didn't say a thing. I remember him ordering eggs. They said, "Sir, we don't...
