All-inclusive park to open in West Columbia.

Work is nearly complete at a park at the West Columbia Riverwalk that will allow children of all physical abilities to play together.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Carraway Park at the Riverwalk is set for Wednesday in West Columbia.

The park, near the amphitheater at West Columbia Riverfront Park, complies with Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. It is designed to provide play opportunities for children of all physical abilities with features to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices, according to a news release.

The park also includes public art installations.
