Alfred Williams & Co. acquires Workplace Resource.

Workplace strategy and office furnishing company Alfred Williams & Co., with S.C. offices in Columbia, Greenville and Charleston, has acquired Texas-based interior office design firm Workplace Resource.

The deal, finalized July 1, will form a combined company with annual revenue of more than $200 million, according to a news release from Alfred Williams. Austin-based Workplace Resource will add that market, along with San Antonio and Louisiana, to an Alfred Williams portfolio that also includes Charlotte and Nashville, Tenn.

"This expansion will help us fulfill our mission of defining, designing, and delivering spaces that matter, something that takes on even more significance as employees return to offices across the country.
