James R. Sides, former chairman, president and CEO of Atlantic Research Corporation, of Gainesville, Va., traveled to Jerusalem in January to receive the Albert Einstein Lifetime Achievement Award for Aerospace. Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lopolianski presented the award to Sides in recognition for his leadership in the missile-propulsion industry.
