The Alaska Native Heritage Center board of directors announced that Jonathon Ross, a Dena'ina Athabascan, was named president/CEO of the center. Previously, Ross worked as vice president for Southcentral Foundation, the Native-owned and -operated self-governance health care provider for the Anchorage and Mat-Su areas, leading its community services division.
