The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) released a request for applications for the eighth round of grants from the Renewable Energy Grant Fund. Applications must be received by the Alaska Energy Authority by 5 p.m. on September 22. In 2012 the Legislature extended the program for an additional ten years.
