Former Alaska Lt. Gov. H. A. "Red" Boucher, 86, was honored recently with the James "Jim" Doogan Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alaska Democratic Party.

Sen. Johnny Ellis, D-Anchorage, presented the award to five members of Boucher's family--his son, John Boucher; daughter, Johanna Keys; and grandchildren Ashley Boucher, Jeffrey Boucher, and C.J. Keys-at a luncheon at the Baranof Hotel in Juneau.
