Gov. Frank H. Murkowski appointed Pat Hanley to the Anchorage District Court. Hanley, a 33-year Alaska resident, recently served as an assistant district attorney in the Anchorage district attorney's office. Hanley has been a public school teacher in rural Alaska and a commercial fisherman. He holds a degree in mathematics from Pacific Lutheran University and a law degree from the University of Utah College of Law.
