NCB, a cooperatively owned financial institution dedicated to building stronger communities nationwide, held a totem pole dedication ceremony on Oct. 21 to honor Alan Williams (XaaTinch), a distinguished elder of the Tlingit tribe, Raven Dog Salmon Clan. He is a former NCB board member and employee at the Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC) in Anchorage, where the pole will remain on permanent display.
