AirBerlin, American Airlines Air Berlin and AA expand codeshare agreement. Oneworld carriers Air Berlin and American Airlines are to expand their existing codeshare agreement from this spring. From March 23 Air Berlin will place its code on over 30 destinations from AAOs Chicago hub, and from the same day Air Berlin will launch its new Berlin-Chicago service (see online news July 12, 2012). Then on April 11 American Airlines will commence a non-stop route between Chicago and Dusseldorf, with Air Berlin codesharing on the route. Finally with immediate effect Air Berlin has placed its code on 11 connecting routes from AAOs hubs in New York, Miami and LA.
