Monarch Flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh to Launch This Winter. Monarch, the scheduled leisure airline, is this week launching new scheduled flights to Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt's popular Red Sea resort. The flights, which start from GBP 173.99 return including all taxes and charges, are available to book now via the Monarch website. Monarch's new scheduled flights to Sharm el Sheikh will operate three times per week from Gatwick and Manchester airports on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting from 03 November 2011. Commenting on the launch of the new flights to the Red Sea, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Kevin George said, "We are delighted to be launching new scheduled flights to Sharm el Sheikh this winter, which follows hot on the heels of our announcement last month to launch flights to the resort for summer 2012.
