Indian airports on lookout for courier packages Airports across India are being told to crack down on courier packages -- especially those wrapped in newspaper, magazines or plastic -- after a crude explosive device was found in the cargo hold of a Kingfisher Airlines airliner. Airnorth, Embraer Investigators from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) have recovered the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder from the Airnorth Embraer EMB-120 turboprop that crashed at Darwin Airport on 22 March. Mar 24, 2010

Airnorth, Embraer Airnorth Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia turboprop crashed yesterday morning in Darwin during a training flight, killing both pilots, according to the manufacturer. It said it was dispatching a team to aid in the investigation. Aircraft first flew in 1988, according to Flight Safety Foundation's Aviation Safety Network and went down during the initial climb. Japan Airlines, British Airways Japan Airlines and British Airways have extended their code share agreement with 13 additional European destinations. The total number of codeshare flights between the two airlines will be increase to 23. From March 28 JAL will add its flight code JL to nine BA-operated routes, followed by another four from April 28. The 13 routes to be added are: Dusseldorf, Munich, Berlin, Basel, Brussels, Geneva, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Prague, Madrid, Barcelona and Athens. Codeshare...
