Philippine Airlines, PAL Express

Philippine Airlines announced the launch of a low-fare subsidiary, PAL Express, that will operate turboprops on regional routes and to smaller island airports incapable of handling larger aircraft. Airline will be based in Cebu and fly six Bombardier DHC-8-Q400s and three Q300s initially. PAL announced the acquisition of the aircraft last week, with deliveries scheduled in the next 4-6 months.
